DESCRIPTION:California Exposed Firearms Permit Day 1 (Classroom) \nThe CA Firearms Permit focuses on a variety of different areas pertinent to exposed firearms certification. You will learn about both the legal and moral aspects of firearm usage\, as well as firearms nomenclature and maintenance techniques essential for proper conduct. \nThe two-day course is divided into a classroom instruction portion on Day One and a firearms range qualification portion on Day Two. \nAny BSIS security guard registrant seeking to obtain or associate a BSIS Firearms Permit with their guard registration must complete the assessment to demonstrate appropriate judgment\, restraint\, and self-control necessary for carrying and using a firearm while performing security guard duties. \nAdditionally\, in order to obtain a California BSIS Firearms Permit\, the student must: \n\nProvide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency prior to participating in the course.\nPossess a valid California Guard Card.\nPass a Livescan\nPass assessment\n\nPrices are for both days and include range fees\, ammunition\, Live Scan\, and BSIS fees.
